At OIA we offer a venue for artists to exhibit their work, free from commercial gallery pressure and enable member artists to determine their own exhibition goals. Membership in OIA guarantees representation in our annual members Salon Show plus opportunities for curating and exhibiting work in our many shows each year.
For the last thirty-five years, OIA has been committed to the core values and guiding principles of excellence, exploration of artistic media, and accessibility for all artists regardless of race, creed, national origin, or sexual preference.. Our exhibition programs each year at New York Law School and St. Francis College have attracted viewers from the various downtown and Brooklyn communities where we exhibit, as well as the general art community of Greater New York.
